Some recent creations

'That Look' is a LO I did the other week when I got Emma's kinder photos back. It was a quicky 20 min creation (very rare for me), and I've rediscovered the Basic Grey plain papers and am in love! I think they're replacing Bazzill for me at the moment for backgrounds. They just seem to have a real grungy feel which I'm also loving at the moment.

I made the canvas 'Adison' using the Oh Baby Girl range from Basic Grey - an oldy but a fave! The photo is of my sweet baby neice Adison, who I'm yet to meet...bring on Christmas!

Family update: Meg is happily rolling about the place, and today took her first backward crawl....she suprised herself too lol.

Emma and Lilly are fighting like cats and dogs every half hour but it's ok because the other half hour they're best friends and playing beautifully together ...kids hey!

Kevin is busy working and is just getting back into doing a bit of research into his family history which is MUCH BETTER than wasting hours playing GTA in my opinion...lol

And me, well what a crazy mix of emotions it is closing down the shop section of my website and changing it all over to the new format. I'm finding it quite sad seeing all the products disappear from the shelves now that Ihave my clearance sale on. It's going to be great though - I'm already finding that I have heaps more time and a lot less pressure.

Until next time

Daddy's home!!

Yay, Kevin's been home for six days now so we're all very happy!!! Well apart from Lilly who hasn't been all that well. She had a high temp on Thursday and has been very grizly ever since. She was slightly better today and by the look of her sopping wet shirt tonight I'm guessing it is the dreaded teeth coming through! She doesn't usually get SO out of sorts but they must be sore ones.

We've had a very lazy weekend here, it's been too hot to do much except sit in the nice airconditioning :)

Emma and Lilly have been having lots of fun with all their toys (in other words totally destroying the place), Meg is also teething so has been a bit grumpy. Thank got the Homeopathic teething tablets work for her!

We were very excited the other day when I picked up Emma's Prep uniform for next year....she looks sooooo cute and grown up in it!!! I can't believe she's only a couple of months off starting school WOW!

The big news for me is that I've decided to sell EMM. The decision was extremely hard but I really feel it's time as I'm really struggling to keep up with everything. Now to find a new home for my OTHER baby!

A great day

Well starting off with a nice little sleep in till 8:45 - I was VERY happy with that after Meg's 5:30-6:00am wake up cries all week.

We had Poached and Boiled eggs for breaky then headed down to the Nature Centre at Queen's Park to see the animals. It was really nice weather - hot but a nice cool breeze. I forgot the camera so no piccies of the Park *sorry* but then we came home and had a Picnic lunch in the backyard ..as you can see in the picture. Now you may ask why are we having the picnic on the concrete instead of the grass? Well our backyard is infested with green ants and they HURT when they bite so at least on the concrete we can relax without the worry of ants getting us!

The other pictures are from this last week. Emma and Lilly making lunch wearing the cute little Aprons Lynette made up with leftover material from my Craft Fair aprons. All three girls just seem to be growing up so fast at the moment...it's scary!!!

THANK YOU Shazzy!!!

What a wonderful group of talented scrapping friends I have!!! Especially the beautiful Shazz Pratten. Today I drove down to the Gold Coast with Tam and Grace to go to Linda's Stampin Up party and while I was there Shazz gave me this gorgeous canvas of Meg. IT's just soooooooo beautiful and bought tears to my eyes when her gorgeous girl Kait gave it to me. Here's a photo of it, but of course it looks much, much better in real life (and her two big sisters what their own canvas as well now...lol)

There's also some photos of the girls from this week. Have a good one everyone!

A Lazy Sunday at home

Well, Kevin got home yesterday which was a few days earlier than expected so we've just had a lovely relaxing day at home today. It was raining all day which is WONDERFUL but of course the girls were getting sick of playing inside but still managed to entertain themselves with lots of books and their Thomas trains. Daddy also gave Emma and Lilly a manicure and pedicure...they love it!!!

Here are some photos from today.

some recent piccies

Here are just a few recent photos of the girls. Emma is really enjoying holding (and sometimes picking up without asking) Meg.

Lilly is also getting much more excited about her now that she's starting to giggle and goo and gaa.

and the blogging fun begins

Oh My, I can't believe I've entered blog land...lol.

I finally took the plunge and have started my own blog. The main reason is because I'm so slack and sending photos of the girls down to all the family in Melbourne, so this way everyone can check in here at anytime and see what we're all up to.

I'll also be posting some of my LOs to share which is really exciting for me!!!

Here's the first one called 'Simple Pleasures'. Ruthy's beautiful daughter Emily took a heap of photos of the girls when they came down for a crop night a while back. She then developed them herself and has sent them to me. This is the first one I've scrapped of Lilly watering the garden out the back. I created this LO to enter Top 50's August Layout challenge which is to use Green, Orange and Brown.
